If you are a qualified Accountant or Bookkeeper, then this could be the exciting opportunity you have been waiting for.  We are looking for someone to join and run a small established Finance team within our warm and friendly office.  Reporting directly to the Directors, the post holder will be expected to use their technical, analytical, interpersonal, and negotiating skills to develop excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders relevant to their position.

Your day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • SAGE Payroll
  • Financial transactions using Zero
  • Sales ledger
  • Credit control
  • Supplier payments
  • Annual budgets and forecasting
  • Year-end accounts
  • Daily and monthly reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Carry out other tasks relevant to this role

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have knowledge and experience of all necessary bookkeeping tasks
  • Require excellent attention to detail
  • Have demonstrable experience managing payroll
  • Possess a motivated, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be required to work unsupervised


We are looking to recruit a HGV Class I driver who is confident in driving a chain skip lorry and drag working Monday through to Friday inclusive with the occasional Saturday morning when required in addition.  In addition to this we are looking to recruit a Class II HGV Driver as soon as possible.

Both positions require someone who is reliable, flexible and who are committed workers on a long-term basis, and who wants to be respected for what they do and be part of a wider friendly, happy team.  All our drivers are expected to be adaptable in terms of driving any of our fleet vehicles on occasions when required.

We need you to have HGV Class I or HGV Class II entitlement, a valid DQC (CPC card) and a digital tachograph card.
